If your invitation takes you to Murasie wedding venue in the Baardskeerdersbos area, plan your accommodation and travel together. 5 on Church offers three private rooms and a separate garden cottage in the village.
Choose the right sleeping arrangements
The Junior Room, Protea Room and Suikerbekkie each sleep two guests in the main house, with private bathrooms and a communal lounge. The separate cottage sleeps up to two, using a double bed and a sofa bed, and has its own kitchenette.
Across all four units the maximum capacity is eight guests, subject to availability. This is a combination of separate units, not one eight-bed house booking. Check every room you need for the wedding dates before assuming the whole group can stay together.
Give arrival its own place in the schedule
Our usual check-in window is 14:00–18:00 and check-out is at 10:00. If the ceremony or preparations fall within that window, contact us before booking to discuss your intended arrival. Early check-in or alternative arrangements should not be assumed.
Staying the night before the wedding may make your plans less rushed, depending on the celebration schedule. Confirm those details with your hosts and check room availability before finalising your stay.
Arrange the journey back in advance
Confirm the venue’s exact address and organise transport to and from the celebration with your group or a transport provider. Do not rely on finding a ride at the end of the evening. Accommodation does not include a shuttle service.
Our quiet hours are 21:00–08:00 and parties are not permitted at the property. Plan a considerate return for other guests and the village. Your venue arrangements and accommodation booking are separate; 5 on Church is not presented as part of or affiliated with Murasie.

Can eight wedding guests stay at 5 on Church?
The property can accommodate up to eight across all four units when they are available: two guests in each of the three private rooms and two in the cottage. Confirm each unit and the cottage’s sofa-bed arrangement before booking.
Is the wedding venue booking included?
No. Book your accommodation with 5 on Church and handle wedding attendance, venue details and transport separately with the organisers or providers.
